Rach "Jeffrie" Jackson

Rachel Jackson is a Manchester-based artist who is currently seeking a diagnosis of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). She enjoys painting, sells her work and often paints windows for clients. I had a chat with her to learn more about how she navigates being self-employed and the impact that her ADHD characteristics have on her work.

"If I'm doing stuff for myself I use it as catharsis, so I put on my fave tunes,

picture a person or a scenario and then just do"

"I generally feel like my paintings work better when I have a person in mind. Specifically in-person I love, otherwise I feel them to be really disjointed and the whole process to be really disjointed"
